Q: How do you import your Tone Match presets into my Fractal?

A: I export all Tone Match packs into FAS Bundles. Once uploaded, the Tone Match IR should automatically load into the cab block. Here is a tutorial on how to load the Tone Match presets: 

Q: I'm having trouble uploading my Fractal presets. What should I do? 

A: First, make sure the preset you purchased is compatible with your unit. Overall, the FM3, FM9, and Axe III can be cross compatible as long as the preset doesn't exceed the units' abilities. For example, an FM3 can't load a dual amp or two reverb block preset.

Second, it's always good practice to make sure you're updated to the latest firmware and editor prior to uploading a preset. Some of my presets could have new features which wouldn't make them compatible with older firmware.

Lastly, please take into account your method for uploading presets. DO NOT use Fractbot for uploading. In my experience, it's really hit or miss. My preferred method (universally tried and true) is to pull up an empty preset, then drag and drop the 'syx' (preset file) into the header where the preset title is. Q: Which guitars do you use to create your presets?

A: My go-to guitars for creating all my presets come from Mike Lull Custom Guitars in Bellevue, WA (Mike Lull Guitars). My pink one is an S-Style with Lollar Blondes and a Low Wind Imperial. I also use their T-Style with a set of custom would Lindy Fralin pickups with a 4-way switch. They are the best guitars I've had the pleasure of playing. Contact them! Spencer is the owner, and he's just the best! I also have made sure to test all my presets with the PRS SE Silver Sky and core Silver Sky.

Q: I'm not happy with my preset purchase/I purchased the wrong preset. Can I have refund?

A: Typically digital downloads are non-refundable, but please use the Contact page so we can work something out! It's just difficult when these are digital downloads that can't be returned.

Q: Will I receive preset updates for my Fractal and Helix units as new firmware comes out?

A: I won't guarantee updated presets, but I will try my best! If I notice a dramatic change that severely affects the tone in my preset, I will most definitely make an update!
