Fractal OMJM Acoustic Tone Match

Bring the warmth and clarity of the John Mayer Martin OMJM acoustic into your Fractal FM3, FM9, & Axe III unit with this acoustic tone match preset! 🎸 Inspired by John Mayer’s acoustic sound, this preset captures the rich midrange, sparkling highs, and natural body resonance that makes the OMJM so special.

The Tone Match was captured using mic pres and a Neumann TLM 103 condenser mic. The preset includes 4 scenes tailored to the needs of both studio and live mixes. Overall, this Tone Match will transform your acoustic pickup into a tone that sounds like you’re sitting in front of a high end microphone!

Scenes:

1. Main Studio (Dry-ish)- panned Tone Matches at Max and 1024 res for a nice balance of ambience
2. Live- Tube Pre added for warmth. No effects and Tone Match set to 1024. 
3. Live (Wet)- Tube Pre added for warmth, Max res Tone Match, and reverb. 
4. Studio (Wet)- Max res Tone Match and dialed in effects.
