Quad Cortex John Mayer ‘The Search For Everything’ Preset

The John Mayer ‘The Search For Everything’ era tone is one of my favorites. There’s a slight nod to his famous ‘Continuum’ tones but more open, midrange punch, and gain.

This Quad Cortex preset includes V2 captures of two core pieces of his 2017 tone: PRS JMOD 100 and Fender Dual Professional. The JMOD provides that D-style midrange, percussiveness, and warmth while the Dual Professional adds the sparkly high end and forgiveness in the attack. Added on top of the captures are overdrive captures and effects dialed in meticulously along side each album track.
