The AC30 defined the sound of rock in the 60s all the way to present day! The distinctly recognizable high end, chime, mid range, drive, and slight grit to the notes have made it the go to amp for guitarist like The Edge, Brian May, as well as many in the church scene. It’s the amp that will help you cut through the mix!

This new Quad/Nano Cortex capture pack offers 8 ‘Version 2’ captures of this amazing hand wired amp ranging from chime-y cleans to saturated overdrive. These are my favorite tones using the famed Top Boost circuit going through the High and Low Inputs. You will also receive 2 presets to audition captures including my U2 The Edge preset.

The amp was captured using the stock Alnico Blue speakers while being mic’d with my favorite combo of the SM57 and Royer 121.
